From the parking lot at the Deep Creek trailhead, you carry your inner tube upstream less than a mile into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on the Deep Creek trail. Tube rental companies are located on West Deep Creek Road, near the National Park entrance. You may bring your own vest, or pick one up when you are renting your tube. Life Jacket Policy – The Great Smoky Mountains National Park requires all children 13 years of age and younger to wear a life jacket while tubing. New: Parking tags are required to park in the Deep Creek Area of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Put-in for this section is at the swimming hole just above the first bridge. (2) The lower section, which is wider, easier going and more appropriate for smaller kids, ends at the parking lot. At the end of the rapids section, there’s a wide, deep swimming hole that provides a relaxing break before getting back on the tube. This is a wild, bouncy ride that often separates the rider from the tube, especially when the water is swift after a rain. This is a must for a busy family who wants to get away, a romantic escape for a couple, or perfect for a solo traveler in need of some rest and relaxation and a deeper connection to nature to get away from the hustle and pressures of everyday day life.Just outside Bryson City, the Deep Creek ride consists of two sections: 1.) The upper “whitewater” section which flows from Indian Creek through the narrow Deep Creek gorge. I left the experience calmer, rested, and relaxed. Building a fire, making s’mores, and sipping coffee in the morning on the beautiful patio. handmade fire starter and firewood is a must! Very close to all the attractions but stay at a minimum 2-3 nights as you are doing yourself a disservice if you don’t stay an entire day on grounds! I spent my 2nd day walking, relaxing on the hammock bed underneath the treehouse, reading and listening to nature. Where do I start!?! This was such an amazing retreat! I had the opportunity to stay for a few days and I definitely recommend the accommodations and the incredible team here! I stayed in the Magnolia treehouse and this was everything and more that I could have ever imagined! They have spared no detail and anything you may need or want is just down the road at the resort’s general store! They. We have recommended this location to our family/friends and we will be visiting again. Overall this was an awesome location and visit. My children really enjoyed playing in the stream that runs along the edge of the property and the water sounds amazing at night. There are a few grills conveniently located around the property and charcoal is provided. There's a Solo Stove on the outside deck for a nice fire (add the wood bundle to your rental for $10 or you'll pay almost $17 at the office).

The bathroom has a stand up shower and plenty of hot water. It was equipped with 2 queen beds, a kitchenette with microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker. The treehouse was perfect and met my family's basic needs. was the cleanest rental property we've stayed in. The property and treehouses are extremely well maintained.

They're conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Treehouse Grove at Norton Creek provide that and so much more. I wanted something different and exciting for my children. This was my family's first visit to Gatlinburg.
